Cordley Parent Teacher Association’s (PTA) key goal is to raise funds to support the achievement of school goals, to promote the general welfare of our students and school community, and to host a range of activities and events that create opportunities for fun and connection.
The Cordley PTA:
Invests in Students with essential learning materials, unforgettable, affordable experiences, and support for those facing food insecurity.
Provides Families with holiday support and a strong sense of community.
Celebrates our Teachers and Staff with essential classroom resources and well-deserved appreciation.

Our PTA Meets 2nd Tuesday of each month (September– May) from 6:30PM-7:30PM in the Cordley Library. All are invited to attend. Childcare Provided.

Cordley Elementary is a Title I school in the heart of Lawrence, KS with 50-60% of our 350+ students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. Our kindergarten to 5th grade students include a rich diversity of Indigenous nations and cultures from around the world. Our students speak 20+ different languages at home and receive support through our ESOL program.
We rely on donations from local businesses, community organizations, neighbors and Cordley families. Please consider:

School Improvement : $1,619 dedicated to enhancing our school grounds and facilities.
